Show Up… Even With Doubt

You don’t need perfect faith to follow Jesus — just a willing heart.
⛰️ Show Up… Even With Doubt
In the book of Matthew, we read something that might surprise us.
After Jesus had died…
After He had risen…
After He had begun revealing Himself to His disciples…
They met Him on a mountain in Galilee.
"Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted."
— Matthew 28:16–17
They saw Him…
And still… some doubted.
That sentence always makes me pause.
Because these were the disciples.
The ones who walked with Him.
The ones who saw His miracles.
The ones who heard His voice.
And yet…
They still doubted.
But here’s what stands out to me the most:
They still went.
They didn’t stay behind because they weren’t sure.
They didn’t say, "Maybe we shouldn't go."
They didn’t wait until they felt stronger in their faith.
They went… with doubt.
And when they got there…
They worshiped Him.
Even with their uncertainty.
Even with their questions.
Even with their doubt.
That’s powerful.
Because sometimes we think we need to have perfect faith before we follow Jesus.
We think we need to have everything figured out before we obey.
But the disciples show us something different.
You can follow… even when you doubt.
You can show up… even when you're unsure.
You can worship… even when your faith feels shaky.
And maybe that’s the question for us today:
Where in your life is Jesus asking you to meet Him?
Is He asking you to trust Him in something?
To step forward in obedience?
To forgive someone?
To take a step you’re unsure about?
You don’t have to wait until your doubt disappears.
Just go.
Show up.
Worship Him… even with doubt.
Because sometimes faith doesn’t grow before we go.
Sometimes faith grows because we go.
And when we follow Him… even in uncertainty…
We often find that He meets us right there.
Just like He met the disciples on that mountain.
📖 Scripture
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."
— Proverbs 3:5
