Don’t Waste Your Chance
There are people begging for one more opportunity—don’t ignore the one you have.
📖 Scripture
“Then he said, ‘I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’”
— Luke 16:27–28
📘 Bible Study
It sounds brutal.
Almost unreal.
But it’s not.
It’s truth.
There’s a story Jesus told in Luke 16.
A man is in torment—in hell.
And what’s he begging for?
Not comfort.
Not relief.
He’s pleading for someone to go warn his family.
“Send Lazarus to my father’s house,” he cries,
“For I have five brothers. Let him warn them,
so they will not also come to this place of torment.”
But it’s too late.
He’s out of time.
No second chances.
Just regret.
And while people in hell are begging for one more opportunity
to reach those they love…
People on earth are wasting millions of them.
They scroll past truth.
They ignore the conviction.
They laugh off the warnings.
They assume there will always be more time.
But there won’t always be more time.
Heaven is real.
Hell is real.
And the difference between the two isn’t a matter of luck—
It’s a matter of choice.
You have one now.
Right now.
So don’t waste yours.
Don’t wait until regret is louder than opportunity.
Don’t let comfort blind you to eternity.
Don’t assume you’ll make it without surrendering to the only One who can save you.
God is offering you the invitation of a lifetime—
A forever with Him.
Take it.
Before you find yourself
pleading for someone else
to not make the same mistake.
